How to use this calculator
Set the first day of your employer's workweek. Fill only the days you worked; add another work period for split shifts. Set an end date for overnight work. Calculate before copying, printing, or exporting.
A worked example
Five days of 7 hours 45 minutes total 38 hours 45 minutes, or 38.75 decimal hours. Against a 40-hour goal, 1 hour 15 minutes remains.
The calculation
Daily paid minutes = sum of nonoverlapping paid periods. Weekly minutes = sum of seven daily totals.
Before you use the result
Overnight periods appear under their start date. Split shifts at a workweek boundary and place break minutes in the week where they occurred. Gaps between separate periods are already excluded; do not subtract them again.
